Sales Manager / Aftermarket Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager required to join a Global Engineering Manufacturer.

 

The successful Sales Manager / Aftermarket Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager will work remotely covering UK-wide, responsible for managing and maintaining OEM relationships and aftermarket sales within the commercial vehicle industry.

 

The successful Sales Manager / Aftermarket Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager will have experience selling or managing accounts within a number of key accounts of distribution channels and OEM customers in a commercial manufacturing environment.

  • £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience

Sales Manager / Aftermarket Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager Role

  • Work remotely covering UK-wide, responsible for managing and maintaining OEM relationships and aftermarket business within the commercial vehicle industry.
  • Identify and target new clients from within the commercial vehicle industry (Bus sector)
  • Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling the aftermarket business within the bus sector.
  • Prepare quotations for customers as required.
  • Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
  • Complete monthly sales and opportunity reports using appropriate tools for management.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
  • Home-based, willing to travel to customer sites across the UK.

 

Sales Manager / Aftermarket Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager Requirements

  • Experience as a Sales Manager, Aftermarket Sales Engineer, Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Aftermarket Sales Manager, or similar.
  • Must have a commercial vehicle background, and market knowledge - bus industry experience is desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable Manufacturer.
  • A technical qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree is desirable.
  • Experience in aftermarket sales within a commercial environment.
