Base and Offshore Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Base and Offshore Engineer, the company we are representing is a market leader in the finest technology that supports the Offshore Industry. The role is a mixture of both base and Offshore work.
Package:
Salary Up to £30,000 with an added day Rate when working Offshore.

Responsibilities of Base and Offshore Engineer
- Service and upkeep of equipment in our onsite workshop
- Equipment must be efficiently and legally prepared to satisfy client demands.
- After the post-hire equipment inspections are finished, fixes and corrections are made.
- Assist in the delivery, commissioning, operation, and troubleshooting of the equipment.
- utilizing the asset tracking system and collaborating with the other company bases to ensure effective mobility of assets.
Requirements of Base and Offshore Engineer
- Ability to demonstrate a practical understanding of engineering principles, methods, and procedures for electronics.
- Experience dealing with industry-standard equipment from companies like Sonardyne, iXBlue, Kongsberg, Tritech, Teledyne, and Valeport.
- The ideal applicant will be familiar with operating survey equipment as part of an offshore survey team and with interfaces between survey sensors and acquisition software.
- The ability to work independently on overseas assignments.
- Obtaining offshore certification, such as ENG1, OGUK, STCW, or BOSIET.
- The capacity to work effectively and safely under deadlines and pressure.
- Excellent teamwork and communication.
