BIM Coordinator

Location: London

Salary: £50K-£55K

Introduction: A highly regarded architecture and interior design firm is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join its dynamic and innovative London studio. This role will support an international studio, leading BIM implementation, setting standards, and mentoring creative design teams. Duties:

  • Setting up Revit projects using appropriate templates
  • Leading BIM standards and procedures implementation across both studios
  • Developing best practice workflows for varied projects
  • Coordinating and maintaining project BIM models and associated documents
  • Managing BIM deliverables and assisting with project delivery
  • Coordinating and managing BIM processes and workflows
  • Ensuring quality and accuracy of BIM models and data
  • Providing ongoing training and support to architectural and interior teams
  • Offering Revit training and mentorship
  • Leading BIM Working Group meetings, setting agendas, and delegating actions
  • Creating and maintaining template files to assure standards
  • Creating Revit families and setting standards for visual appearance of BIM output

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in a BIM coordinator role within an architecture practice
  • Background in handling complex, large-scale design projects with BIM and Revit
  • Strong understanding of the BIM process with proven project coordination experience
  • Extensive problem-solving skills
  • Background in using Navisworks and Enscape
  • Experience understanding client’s requirements and developing BIM documentation
  • Experience implementing Revit Standards and content management
  • Clear and approachable communication skills with a commitment to supporting design teams
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Construction Cloud, Dynamo, and other technology software packages is an advantage
