CNC Sales Engineer
Regional Sales Manager / Business Manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer required to join a longstanding supplier of Machine Tools and CNC Machines.
Their range of products includes Vertical Machining Centres, 5-Axis Machining Centres, Multi-Axis Turning Centres, Hard Turning Lathes and a variety of machines they hold in stock from brands such as Averex, Axa, Brother and Wele.
The successful Regional Sales Manager will have previous sales experience with CNC Machines and good Machining knowledge, so may come from a background as a CNC Machinist, CNC Setter / Operator / Programmer or Machine Shop Manager. A full onboarding period will be conducted with an experienced member of staff to ensure that you are ready.
The Regional Sales Manager role will focus on generating new sales whilst maintaining and growing the existing customer base.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for a territory covering the Home Counties predominantly. Candidates from this patch will be considered but the ideal Regional Sales Manager may be based in Reading, Oxford, Luton, Harlow, Bedford or the surrounding areas.

Assisting with the development of your territory’s sales strategy
Identifying new opportunities and customers to sell the product range to
Involvement in focused sales projects within a multi-disciplinary team in order to provide customised solutions for companies in your region
Maintaining excellent customer relationships through aftersales contact
Updating the CRM system to ensure all customer contact is recorded
Liaising with the internal sales and service teams to ensure an efficient ordering and delivery process for the customer
Be in attendance at exhibitions to provide customer support both in the UK and abroad
Background in engineering, ideally from a machining or production environment
Full sales and product training will be provided, but it is preferred for a background in CNC sales
Confident approach to speaking with people using strong verbal and written communication
Flexibility to travel to customer locations across the region
