A market-leading business is looking for Customer Support Assistant on a 6 months fixed contract with a possibility of a permanent role at the end, to be responsible to inform clients of any issues with their shipments.

Customer Support Assistant/Customer Service Assistant / Delivery Support Assistant Responsibilities
Communicate with customers, colleagues, and carriers to ensure that any issues affecting the delivery of goods are fully resolved.
Ensure that customers are fully informed of any issues affecting their delivery.
Offer phone and email support to inbound clients.
Ensure that all inquiries are promptly answered, and keep clients informed at all times as to the status of their inquiries.
Provide accurate import clearance instructions to carriers so that shipments are cleared in accordance with customer specifications.
Verify that every correspondence is properly recorded on internal systems.
Assist Customer Service Delivery Account Executives with ad hoc tasks as needed.
Monday – Friday 9:00 – 18:00 (40 hours a week)
Customer Support Assistant/Customer Service Assistant / Delivery Support Assistant Requirements
Capable of prioritising and managing your own time, as well as working to tight deadlines to ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
Able to handle numerous email inquiries on a daily basis with ease.
Strong MS office skills, particularly in Word and Excel.
Previous knowledge and experience in the logistics industry and understanding of logistics terminology (desirable).
Able to work to a high degree of accuracy because you will be expected to present accurate information to clients and carriers in an easily understandable manner.
