Electrical Automation Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer / C&I Engineer / Controls Engineer required for a manufacturer based in Portsmouth. Electrical Design experience is essential.  Experience working in a highly regulated industry such as Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Medical, Rail, Marine or other industries. You will be working on a unique and complex product going in to a challenging environment.

Responsibilities:
Electrical Automation Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer / C&I Engineer / Controls Engineer you will be responsible for the design and development of electrical control systems.
Provide support for manufacturing, test and maintenance.
Testing and fault finding
Create production documentation
Select electrical hardware for design, working closely to customer requirements.
 
Requirements:
Previous experience in an Electrical Automation Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer / C&I Engineer / Controls Engineer or similar position.
Electrical design experience is essential
Any relevant qualification or apprenticeship will be advantageous.
Testing experience
PLC / Programmable logic controller (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi etc) knowledge will be beneficial.
