Electrical Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer required for an award-winning designer and manufacturer of engineered computer platforms based in Fareham

It would be beneficial for the Electrical Design Engineer / Electrical Engineer to have experience from a relevant industry such as; defense / military / aerospace / marine

Electrical Design Engineer / Electrical Engineer Role

Develop and design a range of electrical systems in support of complex design-to-order projects

Create circuit diagrams, system schematics, cable assemblies, wiring lists and electrical bill of materials

Complete electrical design using CAD tools, prototype build and design verification

Responsible for electrical part selection taking into account availability and cost

Experience of using design tools; Solidworks electricals, Altium and standard 2D CAD packages

Ensuring Designs and concepts meet codes of practice and recognised safety standards

Creation of technical reports and documentation

Electrical Design Engineer / Electrical Engineer Requirements

Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/computer systems or IT or equivalent qualification

5 years + of experience in an Electrical Design Engineer / Electrical Engineer position

Experience working to the ISO 9001 standards would be desirable

Experience working on defence / military projects would also be desirable
