Export Sales Engineer / Export Sales Manager required to join a manufacturer of measuring & inspection equipment based in Burgess Hill.
The Export Sales Engineer / Export Sales Manager will preferably have a mechanical engineering qualification with a technical sales background (either internal or external sales), with exposure to dealing with export / international customers or a desire to progress into this.
An Internal Sales Engineer looking to progress into a customer facing role within engineering will be of particular interest.

Role
Implement export sales strategy
Liaise with distributors
Development of new distributors
Use technical / mechanical knowledge and sales skills to provide applications support to export distributors
Monitor, record, analyse and report on activities, trends, results
Provide product education to export distributors
Prepare and submit relevant export sales administration
Liaise with various engineering departments
International travel (minimum of 30% is anticipated), office based from Burgess Hill office when not travelling
Requirements
Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Export Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Internal Sales Engineer or exposure to dealing with export / international customers or a desire to progress into this.
Technical sales experience with proven account management and commercial skills looking to move into export / international sales
Export distribution experience beneficial
A mechanical engineering qualification would be advantageous
Exposure dealing with international customers / distributors
Full UK driving licence
