A leading, global engineering services business is looking for a Finance Director to oversee and manage financial activities. This is a key hire for a business growing and investing heavily in the EMEA region. You will require leadership experience as well as a background in an engineering / facilities / security service type business.
Finance Director / Head of Finance Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee financial planning and forecasting to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Design and execute financial strategies that promote sustainable growth, profitability, and the expansion of security services.
- Supervise the preparation and delivery of accurate financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term projections to support business planning.
- Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations, industry compliance standards, and security-related certifications.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture through training and support.
- Provide senior leadership with financial insights and analysis to drive informed decision-making.
- Compile and present financial information to key stakeholders.
Finance Director / Head of Finance Requirements:
- Previous experience in a senior, finance leadership based position.
- Previous experience working within an Services / Facilities / Security type business
- Experience working with multi-period sales on contracts and WIP calculations.
- A relevant degree / qualification will be beneficial.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
