Sales Administrator / Engineering Administrator / Sales Coordinator required to join a leading engineering manufacturer and supplier of pumps / fluid power technology.

The successful Sales Administrator / Engineering Administrator / Sales Coordinator will provide technical support to the sales team and all aspects of customer services such as quotations, responding to inbound enquiries, processing orders, expediting and documentation.

The Sales Administrator / Engineering Administrator / Sales Coordinator will ideally have a customer service background in engineering or technical aptitude/ understanding of engineering equipment. Full product training provided.

Sales Administrator / Engineering Administrator / Sales Coordinator
Role
Provide internal sales support for the UK Sales Division.
Provide all aspects of customer services such as responding to inbound enquiries, processing orders, expediting and documentation.
Generate quotations and proposals of pumps, pump systems & similar mechanical engineering products to customers.

Specify appropriate pumps, pump systems, valves, fluid power equipment or similar mechanical engineering equipment according to customer requirements.

Field inbound enquiries via email and phone, and enter the details on the CRM system.

Onsite sales support, to both internal and external customers.

Forward sales leads received by telephone or email to the relevant Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer or similar.
Liaise with various engineering departments.

Requirements
Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable company.
Technical aptitude and/or understanding of engineering equipment - mechanical or industrial engineering products.
Experience as an Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Advisor, Technical Sales Support Engineer, Sales Administrator, Engineering Administrator, Sales Coordinator , Contracts Engineer, Customer Service Executive or similar.
Experience with SAP & Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, Word) is advantageous.
Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or degree in engineering would be highly desirable.
Experience working with pumps, pump systems, valves, fluid power equipment or similar mechanical engineering equipment is advantageous. Full product training provided.
Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
The confidence to deal with people at all levels both internally and externally.

Commutable to Gloucestershire or willing to relocate.
