Internal Technical Sales Manager

Internal Sales Manager / Internal Sales Supervisor / Sales Office Manager required to join a manufacturer near Berkhamsted.

The successful Internal Sales Manager / Internal Sales Supervisor / Sales Office Manager will oversee the sales team, manage and grow existing relationships as well as developing new business opportunities, alongside selling pumps, pump systems and associated products.

The Internal Sales Manager / Internal Sales Supervisor / Sales Office Manager will ideally have management and sales experience within an engineering sales environment.

Package
£37,500 - £42,500 depending on experience
Bonus - high OTE

Internal Sales Manager / Internal Sales Supervisor / Sales Office Manager Role

Oversee and drive sales growth by successfully managing the Sales Team.

Create and implement sales strategies across all products to ensure the Sales Team hit targets.

Ensure the sales team implement correct procedures and processes to successfully see the order process from concept to completion.

Establish clear objectives; performance and development plans for colleagues within the sales team.

Work alongside the Sales Director to improve the Sales Department’s operational systems, processes and policies.
Provide technical advice and guidance on various pumps, pump systems and associated products as per customers’ specification.

Generate tailored quotations and proposals for various pumps and pump systems to meet customers’ requirements.

Managing sales process from concept to completion to ensure customer satisfaction.

Provide technical support and all other aspects of sales support - e.g. sales orders, order processing, expediting, purchase orders and documentation.
Product specification advice and after sales support of pumps, pumps systems and drainage products.

Liaise with various engineering departments.
Office based, near Berkhamsted.

Internal Sales Manager / Internal Sales Supervisor / Sales Office Manager Requirements
Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable mechanical engineering manufacturer.

Proven people management and team leadership experience.

Experience as a Sales Manager, Sales Team Leader, Senior Sales Engineer, Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support Engineer, Contracts Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Sales Executive, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within the engineering industry.
Technical aptitude and/or understanding of mechanical or industrial engineering equipment is highly desirable. Product training is provided.
A technical qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree in mechanical/electrical engineering would be advantageous.

Commutable to the office near Berkhamsted.
