Key Account Manager / Global Account Manager / Strategic Account Manager required to join a global, market leading engineering manufacturer.

Key Account Manager / Global Account Manager / Strategic Account Manager shall collaborate closely with top global OEMs, single-handedly managing the largest accounts and overseeing multimillion-pound contracts. Your invaluable technical and commercial expertise will drive success in providing critical compressed air solutions to automotive truck and bus manufacturers in the eMobility division.

Key Account Manager / Global Account Manager / Strategic Account Manager will ideally have a technical background in engineering solutions within automotive or manufacturing industries. Application Engineer, Internal Sales Engineer with technical engineering experience looking for progression in to sales would also be of interest.

Package:

  • £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience

Key Account Manager / Global Account Manager / Strategic Account Manager Role

  • Champion our Electric 'E' compressors, tailored specifically for electrified transport, and forge strong relationships with automotive key accounts.
  • Provide technical support, ensuring seamless issue resolution and sales development.
  • Ensure alignment with automotive standards, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide expert technical support and lead commercial negotiations, ensuring alignment with industry standards and delivering on multimillion-pound contracts.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
  • Office based near Birmingham, Remote or Hybrid work arrangements available based on candidate's experience.

Key Account Manager / Global Account Manager / Strategic Account Manager Requirements

  • Experience in Key account management or technical background in engineering solutions within automotive or manufacturing industries.
  • Proficiency in engaging customers with a methodical and confident approach.
  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Export Sales Manager, Strategic Sales Manager, Global Account Manager, Aftermarket Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Regional Account Manager, Commercial Manager or similar within manufacturing.
  • Application Engineer, Internal Sales Engineer with technical engineering experience looking for progression in to sales would also be of interest.
  • Confident leading commercial discussions and negotiating prices.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline preferred.
  • Fluency in English; additional language proficiency (German, Dutch, French, Spanish) advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel overseas, primarily in Europe, up to 40% of the time.
