We are looking for a Marine Electronics Engineer / Electrical Engineer to provide excellent service and technical expertise for one the largest electrical and mechanical companies in Scotland.
Package:
Salary £28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities of a Marine Electronics Engineer / Electrical Engineer
- Independently doing on-site and offshore repairs and maintenance on a range of different pieces of equipment.
- Perform radio surveys, VDR performance testing, and other inspections and surveys on customer ships.
- Assistance with the installation and maintenance of maritime electronics for the senior engineer.
- Do any relevant tasks that might emerge as the company develops.
- Work independently, and effective communication skills are key.
- This job occasionally requires working at heights outside.
Requirements of a Marine Electronics Engineer / Electrical Engineer
- A track record in the marine industry, especially with experience in an electronics or electrical engineering setting.
- Holds certification in electronics, such as an NVQ3 or HNC/HND level.
- Understanding of communication technologies, including GPS, VHF & MF radio, radar, and gyro compass.
- Able to work occasionally on the weekends and after hours.
- Must be able to work in the United Kingdom, with travel both in the UK and overseas.
- Must hold a valid UK Passport
