Design Engineer
Are you an experienced Mechanical Design engineer? We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet technical, safety, and regulatory requirements, and develop our design processes. This is an opportunity to join an engineering manufacturer both of high- volume and bespoke products.

Design Engineer Duties
Full Product Ownership – Concept to Market
3D Mechanical Design – Experience with Creo ideally (Exp. In any modern 3D CAD considered)
Advanced 3D modelling of parts and assemblies
Implement design modifications on a wide range of mechanical products.
Project Management – Ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within cost.
Requirements of Design Engineer
Minimum of at least 2 year’s experience in a Commercial Design/ Engineering Role
Must have experience with a wide range of manufacturing processes, e.g., Castings, Extrusions, etc.
Good Material selection knowledge
Demonstratable experience in delivering products on time and to budget.
Strong understanding of Material Selection and DfM
Highly proficient in 3D CAD – Creo ideally, but not essential
An eye for aesthetic product design
Microsoft Office proficient
