Product Specialist / Sales Specialist / Applications Engineer / Product Support Engineer required to join a leading manufacturer of metrology equipment in particular optical measurement equipment, microscopes, optical imaging, vision systems, CMMs, etc.
The Sales Specialist / Applications Engineer / Product Support Engineer / Product Specialist will be home based, covering UK wide with some international travel, and will lead the growth the optical measurement equipment, optical imaging, microscopes, vision systems product line.
You’ll provide product support to customers with product training, pre-sales and after sales support, and demonstrate metrology products (optical measurement equipment, microscopes, vision systems).
This would suit someone either in a sales, application or hands on role with optical measurement equipment, microscopes, vision systems knowledge.
We’d consider someone with a hands-on background using metrology equipment looking to progress into a technical, customer focused position, including an Applications Engineer, Sales Engineer, Product Specialist, CMM Engineer, Metrology Engineer, Inspection Engineer or similar.

Role
Provide specialist product knowledge and lead the growth of optical measurement equipment, microscopes and vision systems product range
Create technical sales proposals in line with the business needs to support UK, Export and Group sales
Perform product demonstrations and attend exhibitions and trade shows
Demonstration of metrology / dimensional / 3D scanning / measuring equipment
Training customers on equipment
Providing technical product advice, sales, demos and training on a range of metrology / inspection equipment, 3D Measuring systems, 3D coordinate measuring technology, CMMs, optical imaging, optical measurement / vision systems
Working from home, with UK wide and some international travel
Requirements
Previous experience as an Sales Specialist, Applications Engineer, Sales Engineer, Product Specialist, CMM Engineer, Metrology Engineer, Inspection Engineer or similar
This would suit someone who’s either in an Applications Engineer or Sales Engineer position already or alternatively a hands-on background using metrology equipment looking to progress into a technical, customer focused position
Knowledge of metrology equipment, including optical measurement equipment, microscopes, optical imaging, vision systems, CMMs
