Production Supervisor

The successful Production Supervisor / Production Team Leader / Production Manager shall manage a team of 26, overseeing the manufacturing processes and managing the operators in their activities, whilst striving to continually drive improvements.

The Production Supervisor / Production Team Leader / Production Manager will ideally have experience in lean manufacturing, assembly manufacturing and 5S culture.

Production Supervisor / Production Team Leader / Production Manager Role

Manage a team of 26, overseeing the manufacturing processes and managing the operators in their activities, whilst striving to continually drive improvements.

Communicating expectations, training to production team members and evaluating their performance.

Implementation of 5S culture.

Ensuring TPM is undertaken at the required frequencies.

Input into Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Regularly checking the machinery and checkpoints to ensure safe and efficient workflow.

Support and lead continuous improvement, problem-solving and process improvement activity.

Liaise with various engineering departments

Production Supervisor / Production Team Leader / Production Manager Improvement Engineer  Requirements

Previous experience as a Production Supervisor,  Production Team Leader , Production Manager, Production Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer or similar

Experience implementing continuous improvement methods.

Proven background in assembly manufacturing and operating assembly equipment is desirable.

Experience in lean manufacturing and 5S culture.

Apprentice-trained, HNC, HND or Degree qualified in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, production engineering, or similar is advantageous

Commutable to Wellingborough or willing to relocate.

Full UK Driving Licence
