The successful Quality Engineer / Quality Control Engineer / Reliability Engineer will maintain quality management systems, conduct audits, manage calibration systems, and implement process improvement.

 

The successful Quality Engineer / Quality Control Engineer / Reliability Engineer will a mechanical engineering background with experience in quality assurance and auditing.

Quality Engineer / Quality Control Engineer / Reliability Engineer Role

  • Will maintain quality management systems, conduct audits, manage calibration systems, and implement process improvement.
  • Support the Quality Manager and act as deputy when necessary.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with the Quality Management System.
  • Conduct internal audits and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Manage calibration systems and external service providers.
  • Assist with inspecting machined and fabricated parts.
  • Oversee the release of technical documents and test specifications.
  • Laise with various engineering departments

 

 Quality Engineer / Quality Control Engineer / Reliability Engineer Requirements

  • Experience as a quality engineer, quality assurance engineer, quality control engineer, quality systems engineer, compliance engineer, reliability engineer, quality inspector, systems engineer or similar.
  • Will have a mechanical engineering background such as measuring equipment, testing equipment, height gauges, capital equipment, rotating equipment, rail or similar mechanical engineering products / systems.
  • The successful candidate will be Degree or HNC / HND qualified in a mechanical engineering field or similar.
  • Extensive experience with quality systems in a safety-critical environment.
  • Certified ISO9001:2015 Internal or Lead Auditor
  • This role is suited for an experienced Quality Engineer with a mechanical engineering focus, strong auditing skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in a safety-critical environment.
