Quality Manager / Quality Lead / Lead Quality Engineer required to join a global, leading Rotating Equipment manufacturer and solutions provider based in Houston.
Quality Manager / Quality Lead / Lead Quality Engineer shall ensure top product quality, reduce customer returns, manage the Quality Management System (QMS), and maintain ISO certifications (9001) for a Rotating Equipment product.
Quality Manager / Quality Lead / Lead Quality Engineer will ideally have experience in leading Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental strategies, managing QMS within manufacturing/engineering, and proficiency in ISO standards and quality tools to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance.

Quality Manager / Quality Lead / Lead Quality Engineer Role
Lead and implement Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental strategies.
Manage the Quality budget and be accountable for all financial matters relating to Quality, Health & Safety and Environment.
Hands-on experience with supplier quality management, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective action processes (CAPA).
Oversee inspection and testing processes for incoming materials, in-process production, and final product verification.
Managing a quality team, on site of around 6 engineers.
Working on Low volume, high production, looking into human factors of quality and improvement
Working a mixture of rotating equipment products such as compressors, turbines, steam actuators.
Oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure ISO compliance.
Handle customer returns and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and satisfaction.
Office based in Houston.
Quality Manager / Quality Lead / Lead Quality Engineer Requirements
Experience in leading and managing Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental strategies, including overseeing the Quality budget and financial accountability.
Time spent as a Quality Manager, Quality Lead, Lead Quality Engineer, Quality Engineer, or similar relating to quality.
Industry experience within the Oil & Gas sector is helpful but not essential.
Proven experience in managing a Quality Management System (QMS) within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Experience writing new processes and procedures to amend quality is important.
Knowledge of API standards is important.
Occasionally travel to another site across the US to another manufacturing site.
20% Travel required meet local suppliers in Hosuton
Proficiency in quality tools such as 5Y, 8D, FMEA or similar.
Ability to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance.
