Sales & Marketing Manager / Sales Lead Generator / Lead Development Specialist required to join a leading process instrumentation company.

The successful Sales & Marketing Manager / Sales Lead Generator / Lead Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business leads, supporting the external sales team, and contributing to overall business growth.

The Sales & Marketing Manager / Sales Lead Generator / Lead Development Specialist will ideally have a background in sales and marketing within process instrumentation or mechanical engineering. Must be commutable to Manchester.

Package

  • £45,000 – £60,000 depending on experience

Sales & Marketing Manager / Sales Lead Generator / Lead Development Specialist Role

  • Generate and qualify new business leads through research, social media, cold calling, and marketing campaigns.
  • Engage with potential customers to understand their needs and determine sales readiness.
  • Support the internal and external sales teams by sharing qualified leads and customer insights.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, analysing data to measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align lead generation strategies with company objectives.
  • Stay current with industry trends, products, and process instrumentation solutions.
  • Office based in Manchester.

Sales & Marketing Manager / Sales Lead Generator / Lead Development Specialist Requirements

  • Previous experience in lead generation, sales and marketing, lead development specialist, sales lead generation, or a similar commercial role within engineering or instrumentation.
  • Technical understanding of process instrumentation, sensors, valves, pressure, temperature, level, flow, analytical, or similar mechanical engineering products.
  • Previous background within sales and marketing.
  • Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building and analytical skills.
  • Proactive, organised, and tenacious approach to finding and developing new business.
  • Must be easily commutable to Manchester.
