The Sales Representative / Generator Sales Specialist / Sales Engineer will execute sales strategies, manage customer relationships within your designated territory to meet annual sales goals, and drive year-over-year growth in both revenue and market share.
The successful Sales Representative / Generator Sales Specialist / Sales Engineer will ideally come from the power generation industry, but this isn’t essential.

Responsibilities:
- The Generator Sales Specialist will develop new customer accounts while nurturing and managing existing relationships.
- Execute sales plans to achieve goals within the assigned territory.
- Identify and engage high-value customers to secure non-bid, high-margin sales.

- Work closely with project managers to resolve new unit start-up challenges.
- Coordinate service department assistance when required.
- Follow up with customers to guarantee product and service satisfaction.
- Address customer concerns and inquiries professionally and effectively.
- Establish trust-based relationships with end users and contractors.
- Represent the company at regional trade shows and industry events.
- Ideally based in Charlotte, NC
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Outside Sales Representative, Sales Representative, Sales Specialist, Sales Engineer, Generator Sales Specialist, Outside Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager or similar.
- Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience required.
- Prior generator sales and technical experience is highly preferred.
- Technical aptitude and ability to contribute to engineering designs.
- Ideally based in Charlotte, NC
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
