Hybrid Role
The Senior Controls Engineer / Controls Engineer will be responsible for delivering engineering work packages contributing to successful project delivery and to successfully design and program control systems for conveyors. The Senior Controls Engineer / Controls Engineer will be reporting directly to the Director of Engineering and Innovation.

Role
The Senior Controls Engineer / Controls Engineer will deal with Electrical / controls concept design including Functional Design Specification, safety Requirements specification, Single line diagram, Network topology, Device Layout, cause and effect matrix, Safety Block diagram.
The Senior Controls Engineer / Controls Engineer will hand over to the Hardware design team and review of designs produced will also deal with the configuration deliverables for e.g. PLC / HMI / SCADA / Robot / Drives / BMS / etc.
The Lead Engineer will be mentoring graduates, trainees, and apprentices.
Factory Acceptance Testing, Commissioning and site Acceptance Testing.
Required
The Senior Control Engineer / Controls Engineer must have
Minimum HND / Foundation Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics
Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
A good understanding of control system design and implementation principles.
