Quality Assurance Engineer / Senior Quality Engineer required for an award winning electro-mechanical company in Fareham. The Quality Assurance Engineer / Senior Quality Engineer will be working closely with the purchasing team to ensure new suppliers come on-board and provide the best quality products and that current suppliers are meeting ISO9001 standards.

Quality Assurance Engineer / Supplier Quality Engineer Duties
- Internal auditor for QMS and EMS
- Supplier auditor. Work with the Purchasing team to assess new suppliers and re-assess existing suppliers to ensure their continued suitability to meet Captec’s requirements.
- Visiting vendor facilities and observing the manufacturing environment to review and assess their procedures
- Monitor and measure supplier quality performance and work with the Purchasing and Quality Managers to implement corrective action so as to continually reduce supplier failure costs.
- Measuring and monitoring supplier performance
Quality Assurance Engineer / Supplier Quality Engineer Requirements
- At least 3+ years’ experience as a Quality Engineer.
- Experience as a Quality representative within complex design and development projects.
- Previous experience working with and developing key suppliers.
- Experienced internal auditor for ISO9001:2015.
- Experienced supplier / external auditor.
- Engineering or Manufacturing background (low volume manufacturing).
