Service Sales Engineer/ Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer required to join a global solutions provider.
The successful Service Sales Engineer/ Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer shall be responsible for delivering Service sales via new and existing customers UK wide.
The Service Sales Engineer/ Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer will ideally have proven sales experience within the Industrial Automation industry.
This role would be suitable for a maintenance engineer moving to a Service Sales role.

Service Sales Engineer/ Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer Role
- Responsible for delivering Systems Integrated Service sales via new and existing customers.
- Selling service contracts big or small into the heavy engineering industry such as Metal, Steel, Automation, Food and Bev and Construction.
- Responsible for the service sales of robotics, control systems, continuous process line automation and mechatronics.
- Produce specific service quotations for new enquiries whilst working closely with the CSO Sales team to provide service quotations on large tenders/projects .
- Act as a technical support for customer and internal employees for systems integrated services.
- Will be able to carry out adhoc maintenance when required
- Knowledge of PLCs such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron or Mitsubhi
- Key account management plus new business development.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Sales Engineer/ Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer Requirements
- Previous experience as Service Sales Engineer/ Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Maintenance Engineer
- Experience in sales of industrial automation such as robotics, control systems, continuous process line automation and mechatronics.
- Worked with PLCs such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron or Mitsubhi
- Practical experience and understanding of the heavy engineering industry such as Metal, Steel, Automation, Food and Bev and Construction
- Strong sales and negotiation management ability.
- A technical mechanical or electrical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
- Full UK Driving License
