Service Technician / Field Service Engineer / Service & Calibration Engineer required to join leading manufacturer of 3D measuring technology. You will be responsible for the maintenance, calibration and commissioning of CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines) on customer sites.
The Service Technician / Field Service Engineer / Service & Calibration Engineer will be home based covering Bavaria & Hessen regions. You must be based in either of these regions.
The successful Service Technician / Field Service Engineer / Service & Calibration Engineer will come from an electromechanical, mechatronic or electrical and mechanical service background and has good written and spoken German & English language skills.
Full training is provided.

Role
Carry out maintenance, calibration and commissioning of metrology, 3D measuring equipment and CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines) at customer sites
Assembling, adjusting and testing equipment
Fault diagnosis and repairs on site, as well as calibrations and acceptance tests
Communication with customers
Electromechanical servicing of CMMs and installing, updating and using operating software
Carry out customer visits for scheduled service, calibration, repair and installation of CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines)
Working from home, covering the Bavaria & Hessen regions
Requirements
Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Calibration Engineer / CMM Engineer / Installation Engineer or a similar service position
Based in the Bavaria or Hessen region or surrounding areas
An electromechanical, mechatronic, electrical / mechanical, electronics service, or maintenance background.
Full product training is provided, however any knowledge of metrology, optical measurement, 3D measuring equipment, CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines), electromechanical machinery, CNC machine tools, robotics or similar would be beneficial
A technical / engineering / electronics or electrical qualification
German and English language skills
Driving licence - Willingness to travel to travel to customer sites
