Staff Accountant / Accounting Specialist / General Accountant responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage WIP schedules, job costing reports, and percentage-of-completion (POC) calculations.
- Ensure revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606 and IFRS 15, including deferred revenue tracking.
- Support monthly and year-end close processes, including GL reconciliations and audit-ready financials.
- Lead or support ERP transitions (e.g., QuickBooks to Acumatica, NetSuite, ProCore).
Staff Accountant / Accounting Specialist / General Accountant requirements:
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, SaaS, or nonprofit environments.
- Strong understanding of WIP, POC, GAAP, and revenue recognition standards.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Acumatica, NetSuite, QuickBooks) and tools like Power BI, Excel, FloQast.
- Ability to manage multi-entity consolidations and capital project compliance reporting.
