Supply Chain Manager / Office Manager / Procurement Officer / Buyer required for a leading supplier of engineering products based in Ormskirk, Lancashire.

The Supply Chain Manager / Office Manager / Procurement Officer / Buyer will negotiate terms and conditions with both suppliers, couriers and freight companies and manage a team of 3 apprentices. You will be responsible for managing the supply chain and ensuring all deliveries and services are on time.

The Supply Chain Manager / Office Manager / Procurement Officer / Buyer will live in a commutable distance to Ormskirk, Lancashire and have prior experience as a Supply Chain Manager / Office Manager / Procurement Officer / Buyer or similar.

 

Package:

  • £28,000 - £35,000 Depending on experience
  • 23 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Pension
  • Monday - Friday
  • Office based near Ormskirk, Lancashire

 

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate terms and conditions with both suppliers, couriers and freight companies and manage a team of 3 apprentices
  • Manage the supply chain to ensure all deliveries and services are on time
  • Monitor all deliveries and liaise with different departments to ensure the correct items are ordered at a reasonable price
  • Monitor and assess supplier performance against metrics and KPI’s
  • Regularly update supply chain processes in line with company policies, laws and regulations
  • Assist the Managing Director with the onboarding of new staff
  • Monitor all office supplies and IT equipment
  • Office based role near Ormskirk, Lancashire

 

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Supply Chain Manager / Office Manager / Procurement Officer / Procurement Manager / Buyer or similar experience
  • Commutable to the office based near Ormskirk, Lancashire
