Technical Engineer / Service Engineer / Technical Support Engineer required to join a leading pump manufacturer.
The successful Technical Engineer / Service Engineer / Technical Support Engineer will be office-based, providing customers and engineers with telephone technical support as well as offering and providing quotations, services, and products within the pump industry.
The successful Technical Engineer / Service Engineer / Technical Support Engineer must have experience in a technical customer support role within engineering ideally within fluid power: Pumps, Valves, Filtration, Hydraulic, Compressed Air, Pneumatics or similar. Full product training provided.
Field service engineers with experience in pumps, valves or rotating equipment looking to come off the tools and progress in an office-based position would be of huge interest.
Package
£30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

Technical Engineer / Service Engineer / Technical Support Engineer Role
- Office-based, providing customers and engineers with telephone technical support as well as offering and providing quotations, services, and products within the pump industry.
- Provide customers and engineers with technical support on a variety of pumps and associated products.
- Liaise with customers to identify specifications/requirements and offer technical solutions.
- Responsible for answering technical enquiries about various pump products, including installations, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
- Provide customers with cost estimates, tenders, proposals, and quotations.
- Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Technical Engineer / Service Engineer / Technical Support Engineer Requirements
- Experience in a technical customer support role within engineering ideally within fluid power: Pumps, Valves, Filtration, Hydraulic, Compressed Air, Pneumatics or similar. Full product training provided.
- Experience as a Technical Sales Engineer, Service Engineer, Applications Engineer, Field Service Engineer or Technical Support Engineer or similar.
- Field service engineers with experience in pumps, valves or rotating equipment looking to come off the tools and progress in an office-based position would be of huge interest.
- Knowledge of the pumps such as centrifugal, submersible, sewage, diaphragm, positive displacement, HVAC and/or other pump related products is advantageous.
- A mechanical engineering qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or degree would be advantageous.
- Willingness to travel to the office based near Burton On Trent.
