UK Sales Manager / Technical Sales Manager / Business Development Manager required to join a global business that specialises in turnkey test cell solutions, powertrain & engine testing equipment, automation systems and dynamometers used in automotive and industrial applications.
The UK Sales Manager / Technical Sales Manager will work from home, covering UK wide. This is the sole salesperson in the UK.
Previous experience / knowledge of turnkey test cell solutions, engineering systems, engine & powertrain testing facilities/equipment, or dynamometers would be beneficial, however an engineering sales background will be considered.
A Degree, HND or HNC in Engineering is essential.

£60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience

Selling turnkey test cell solutions, powertrain & engine testing equipment, automation systems and dynamometers used in automotive and industrial applications
This position is the first Sales Manager within the UK due to expansion, however there is already a UK office
Schedule customer meetings, product demonstrations and quotation reviews
Discuss new engineering projects, define scope and generate requests for quotes
Negotiate pricing and terms with customers
New business development and account management
Liaise with various engineering departments
Adhoc visits to the office
Working from home with UK wide travel
Requirements
Experience as a Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager or similar
Previous knowledge of test cell solutions, engineering systems, engine & powertrain testing facilities/equipment, or dynamometers would be beneficial
Experience selling technical solutions into Automotive manufacturing would be beneficial
An engineering qualification in mechanical engineering, preferably Degree, HND or HNC
Full UK Driving Licence
