Warehouse & Production Operative

Warehouse Operative / Production Operative / Warehouse Assistant required to join a leading pump manufacturer.

The successful Warehouse Operative / Production Operative / Warehouse Assistant will prepare and complete warehouse orders, maintain stock levels and raise goods received notes as well as supporting the manufacturing team to build mechanical engineering products.

The Warehouse Operative / Production Operative / Warehouse Assistant will ideally have experience working in an engineering warehouse and/or productive environment,

£20,000 – £23,000 depending on experience

Warehouse Operative / Production Operative / Warehouse Assistant Role
Complete daily pick lists provided by the Production and Warehouse Supervisor.

Pick, pack, and ship orders in line with requests made by the engineering team.

Raise goods received notes and coordinate deliveries/goods in.

Accurately check, signing in, and process deliveries from couriers.

Deal with customer inquiries and orders when necessary.

Support the manufacturing team to build products in line with customers’ specifications.

Follow Management / Team Leader instructions.

Warehouse Operative / Production Operative / Warehouse Assistant Requirements
Experience in a warehouse environment is essential.

Warehouse Operatives, Warehouse Operators, Productive Operatives, Warehouse Assistants or similar would be highly desirable.

Mechanical engineering experience; use of basic hand & power tools.

Goods in and out with inventory control experience would be highly desirable.

Must be commutable to Berkhamsted.
