An Account Manager / Technical Sales Engineer / Technical Account Manager is required for a technical sales and account management role covering the Netherlands. This is a hybrid position suited to someone who can combine customer relationship management, technical valve knowledge and the coordination of complex, high-value quotations.
The role focuses on managing customer requirements, working closely with internal factory and product teams, and supporting the process through to order. It would suit a technically minded sales professional with experience in valves, control valves, pumps, flow control, process equipment or similar industrial products.

The Account Manager / Technical Sales Engineer / Technical Account Manager Role:
- Manage and develop customer relationships across the Netherlands.
- Handle complex technical quotations, typically involving higher-value project requirements.
- Gather customer requirements and translate them into clear technical and commercial proposals.
- Work with factory, product management and internal technical teams to align on customer needs.
- Support quotation activity from initial requirement through to order.
- Visit customers for appointments, technical discussions and install-base reviews.
- Balance account management, technical sales and project coordination responsibilities.
- Work on a hybrid basis, including office attendance and customer-facing activity.
Account Manager / Technical Sales Engineer / Technical Account Manager Requirements:
- Experience as an Account Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or similar technical sales role.
- Strong technical knowledge of valves, with control valve experience highly desirable.
- Experience in pumps, flow control, process equipment or similar technical products may also be considered.
- Comfortable managing complex quotations and coordinating with internal technical teams.
- Able to build relationships with customers and remain motivated by sales and customer interaction.
- Professional Dutch language skills.
