Application Engineer / Inside Sales Engineer / Technical Support Engineer

An Application Engineer / Inside Sales Engineer / Technical Support Engineer is required to join a well-established and growing provider of industrial filtration solutions. The role will support technical sales and customer applications across oil & gas, manufacturing, and wider process industries.

The Application Engineer / Inside Sales Engineer / Technical Support Engineer will ideally have an engineering degree or hands-on mechanical experience. Experience in preparing proposals and ensuring the successful delivery of engineered solutions.

Application Engineer / Inside Sales Engineer / Technical Support Engineer Role

  • Assess customer application needs and recommend tailored filtration and process solutions.
  • Provide technical support to field sales representatives and prepare accurate technical proposals and quotations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure product selection, documentation, and project execution meet client requirements.
  • Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for customer applications.
  • Assist in developing technical content for training and marketing purposes.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of industrial filtration principles, industry regulations, and new technologies.

 

Application Engineer / Inside Sales Engineer / Technical Support Engineer Requirements

  • BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related) or equivalent technical background.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in an engineering, applications, or technical support role.
  • Background in industrial filtration, oil & gas, process systems, or mechanical equipment preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented approach.
  • Must be commutable within Pennsylvania
