Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer to join a global leading engineering manufacturer.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer will work fully remote, responsible for new business development and managing key accounts across the North West UK, selling a wide range of hydraulic components and systems including pumps, valves, actuators, power packs or similar hydraulic products via end user and OEM channels.

The Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer must have strong technical sales and applications knowledge within the hydraulics or relatable fluid power sector.

Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer Role 

  • Develop new business and manage existing hydraulic accounts across the North West UK.
  • Promote and sell hydraulic components. systems and fluid power solutions to machinery and equipment manufacturers.
  • Deliver strong personal sales performance, generating £1M+ in annual hydraulic system sales.
  • Provide technical sales, applications support, or hands on knowledge of hydraulic solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities through site visits and hydraulic industry networking.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.

Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer Requirements

  • Proven background in technical sales and applications knowledge within the hydraulics or relatable fluid power sector.
  • Experience selling hydraulic systems, components & solutions in to various industries.
  • A Hydraulic Service Engineer, Design Engineer, Application Engineer looking for progression in to sales are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems & components such as pumps, valves, power packs or similar.
  • Mechanical engineering degree is advantageous. 
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to work remote across the North West UK.
