Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a leading manufacturer of automated packaging machinery.

 

The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for automated packaging machinery solutions across the UK.

 

The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will ideally have experience selling capital equipment or machinery within the engineering / manufacturing industry. Any experience selling automated packaging machinery would be advantageous, though not a necessity.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role

  • Will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for automated packaging machinery solutions across the UK.
  • Maintaining mechanical engineering product and system sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
  • Responsible for pre-sales technical assistance as well as providing end solution / application support for all customer needs / requirements.
  • Provide after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required to customers within a variety of industries such as manufacturing, food & bev, and more.
  • Field-based covering the UK with regular visits to customer sites. Required to be at office in Alton when not on the road.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.

 

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements

  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within an industrial engineering environment.
  • Experience selling capital equipment / machinery or systems
  • Candidates with proven experience selling automated packaging machinery are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Full clean driving license.
