Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager required to join a growing industrial distribution business.
The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving new business development and managing a broad customer base across the South of England. You will focus on selling engineered industrial solutions, including pneumatics, fluid power, and power transmission components, to a range of end users and distributors.
The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager will ideally have a strong distributor-to-end-user sales background, an established network in relevant industrial sectors, and experience managing the full sales cycle. Full product training will be provided.
Package:
- £45,000 – £55,000 base salary (depending on experience)

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager Role:
- Sell engineered mechanical and power transmission products, including pneumatics, fluid power components, bearings, gearboxes, couplings, belts, and associated solutions to end-users and distributor partners across the South of England.
- Develop and manage key accounts with a focus on growth and long-term relationships.
- Handle a broad range of industrial products, managing margin pressures and complex sales cycles.
- Provide expert technical knowledge and commercial advice to clients on product applications and solutions.
- Field-based role covering multiple locations across the South, including Milton Keynes, Somerset, Bristol, Kent, and Hertfordshire.
Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager Requirements:
- Experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Key Account Manager, Business Development Manager, or Technical Sales Engineer selling industrial products.
- Proven distributor-to-end-user sales experience, ideally in power transmission, pneumatics, fluid power, or related mechanical products.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage multiple accounts independently.
- Established network within relevant industrial sectors.
- Technical background or understanding of mechanical/industrial systems desirable.
- Full clean driving license and willingness to travel across the South of England.
