Business Development Manager / Branch Manager / Sales Manager required for an industrial products supplier based in Midland, Texas.

The Business Development Manager / Branch Manager / Sales Manager will have full responsibility for the branch including team management, P&L accountability and identifying and pursuing business opportunities for the company.

The ideal Business Development Manager / Branch Manager / Sales Manager will have demonstrable experience growing a territory / branch, managing a team of sales & operational staff and proven connections in midstream and energy markets. This role would suit a Branch Manager / Sales Director / VP of Sales / Business Development Manager / Regional Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager with experience Valves / Flow Control / PVF / Pumps / Electrical Distribution / Waterworks / Oilfield Equipment / Industrial Supply.

Responsibilities for Business Development Manager / Branch Manager / Sales Manager 

  • Lead and manage the branch including outside sales, inside sales, inventory and project management support
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy and growth plan for the branch
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key operators, midstream companies, and EPCs across the Permian Basin.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities within the region.
  • Support the outside sales team in developing new accounts and expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Ensure efficient order processing and fulfillment from branch to customer.
  • Maintain operational standards and reporting for branch performance.

Requirements for Business Development Manager / Branch Manager / Sales Manager

  • Proven leadership experience managing sales and operations teams within Valves / Flow Control / PVF / Pumps / Electrical Distribution / Waterworks / Oilfield Equipment / Industrial Supply sectors
  • Proven experience working in a Branch Manager / Sales Director / VP of Sales / Business Development Manager / Regional Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager position
  • Be within a commutable distance, or plan to relocate to Midland, Texas
  • Established relationships within the Permian Basin / West Texas energy market highly desirable
  • Understanding of procurement and project processes within upstream or midstream oil & gas companies.
