Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Contracts Manager required for a manufacturer of industrial weighing equipment based near Chesterfield.

The successful Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Contracts Manager will be responsible for developing contract sales across a comprehensive range of products including weighbridges, software balances, platform weighing equipment, instrumentation, and bespoke weighing / process systems.

The Sales Manager / Sales Contracts Manager will have a proven track record in sales, ideally within the weighing, engineering, or wider industrial sectors. This is a hybrid role, the successful Sales Manager will need to live within a commutable distance of Chesterfield.

Package:

  • £40,000 base salary (dependent on experience)
  • Uncapped commission (OTE £50,000+)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow existing customer accounts
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across industrial sectors
  • Manage and develop dormant client accounts
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Manage sales territory with minimal supervision
  • Develop contract sales across weighbridges, software balances, platform weighing equipment, instrumentation and bespoke weighing / process systems

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role
  • Experience within weighing equipment, engineering, or industrial sectors (preferred)
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and target-driven
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Flexible to travel across the UK
