An EHS Adviser is required for a site-based role in Copenhagen, supporting environmental, health and safety standards on a large data centre construction project.
This EHS Adviser position would suit a health and safety professional with large construction-site experience who can support project teams, maintain compliance, carry out inspections and help drive safe working practices across site activities.

The EHS Adviser / Health and Safety Adviser / EHS Advisor Role:

Support the project management team, Site EHS Manager and EHS Lead.

Help maintain adherence to project safety management systems, EHS plans, statutory provisions and relevant legislation.

Review method statements, risk assessments, safe plans of action and permit-to-work documentation.

Carry out regular site audits and inspections, record findings and follow up on corrective actions.

Maintain records of statutory inspections for site activities, tools and plant.

Ensure subcontractors follow project and group EHS policies and procedures.

Coordinate and maintain site induction and training records.

Compile and deliver toolbox talks where required.

Assist with or carry out accident investigation reports and communicate findings to project management.

Support welfare, hygiene, waste reduction and recycling standards in line with project procedures.
EHS Adviser / Health and Safety Adviser / EHS Advisor Requirements:

3+ years’ experience on large construction sites.

Thorough knowledge of current environmental, health and safety legislation.

Ability to manage environmental, health and safety issues on site.

Strong communication and computer skills.
-
Flexibility in working patterns where necessary.

Ability to work independently or as part of a wider project team.
