Electrical Construction Manager – Power Generation - Texas
Verto People is recruiting an Electrical Construction Manager to oversee site electrical works on a power generation project.
Representing the owner, you’ll monitor contractor delivery, review installation quality and help resolve issues before they affect progress or system handover.
Key responsibilities

Oversee installation of major electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear and generator connections.

Monitor cabling, terminations, grounding and associated electrical works.

Review work packages and identify gaps in scope or installation requirements.

Coordinate electrical interfaces with contractors and wider project teams.

Participate in site inspections, system walkdowns and punch list reviews.

Check equipment storage and preservation before installation.
Requirements

At least 12 years of electrical construction experience within power generation, including five years in supervisory roles.

At least five years overseeing EPC contractors on behalf of an owner under lump-sum contracts.

Practical knowledge of medium-voltage systems and generator connections.

Familiarity with NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E.

A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field experience.
Experience installing generator step-up and auxiliary transformers would be advantageous, alongside familiarity with construction document management software.
