Equipment & Logistics Controller

Equipment and Logistics Assistant / Stores Person / Storeman / Stores Assistant required to join a leading global engineering company based in Aberdeen. 

The Equipment and Logistics Assistant Person will be responsible for the goods in / out of various engineering equipment as well dealing with the logistics and transport of the items to key sites.

The Equipment and Logistics Assistant / Stores Person / Storeman / Stores Assistant must have experience with Goods in / out ,and / or some element of logistics organisation ideally within Oil & Gas. Full product training is provided.

Equipment and Logistics Assistant / Stores Person / Storeman / Stores Assistant responsibilities:

Liaise with transportation companies and engineers via phone and email.

Pick and safely pack the equipment needed by engineers to undertake their work.

Deal with the transportation and logistics of engineering equipment.

Support and communicate with the service and wider engineering teams.

Coordinate with other service planners when required to provide and assist with engineering resources.

Admin of documentation such as delivery notes and invoicing

Liaise with various engineering departments.

Equipment and Logistics Assistant / Stores Person / Storeman / Stores Assistant requirements:

At least 1 year of goods in / out experience or 1 year of logistics experience 

Good level of computer proficiency.

A forklift license is advantageous.

Experience within the oil & gas industry would be advantageous. 

Good communication skills both written and verbally.

Must be commutable to Aberdeen
