Installation Engineer / Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer required to join a leading engineering supplier of compressed air products and services based near Birmingham.

Installation Engineer / Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer shall be responsible for installing and modifying compressed air pipework using a variety of materials such as aluminium, plastic, stainless steel, and galvanized steel at customer sites across The Midlands.

The successful Installation Engineer / Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer will ideally have Proficiency in reading and interpreting 2D and 3D engineering drawings plus installation of engineering equipment.

The Installation Engineer / Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer Role
Installing and modify compressed air pipework using a variety of materials such as aluminium, plastic, stainless steel, and galvanized steel.
Work closely with our installation team, utilizing both 2D and 3D engineering drawings, and liaising with customers to ensure successful project delivery.
Maintain, repair and install pipework plus service, repair and maintenance on various compressed air products such as air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers, dryers, nitrogen generators & other compressed air products.
Installing compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
Working at heights
Liaise with various engineering departments.

The Installation Engineer / Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer Requirements
Experience as a Installation Engineer, Pipework Engineer, Pipefitter, Service Engineer, 
Demonstrated experience in installing pipework, fittings, and associated components, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications and safety standards
Strong technical skills and understanding of engineering systems, including knowledge of various materials (aluminium, plastic, stainless steel, etc.) and their suitability for different applications. 
Proficiency in reading and interpreting 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
Experience in pipework Installations and able to work at heights.
Engineering qualifiction, IPAF, CSCS card is advantageous.
This is a homebased role covering the Midlands therefore must be willing to travel.
