Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer / Installation Engineer required to join a leading mechanical engineering supplier.

The successful Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer / Installation Engineer will be field-based, responsible for installing pump-related products and pipework at customer sites across the UK, with occasional trips to the workshop in Bracknell.

The Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer / Installation Engineer will ideally have pipework installation experience on mechanical engineering-related products and have worked on sites such as construction, water sites, or similar.

  • £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer / Installation Engineer Role

  • Install pipework in manufacturing factories, construction sites, wastewater, and clean water sites.
  • Travel to customer sites across the UK with occasional trips to the workshop in Bracknell.
  • Install various pipework using materials such as aluminium, copper, stainless steel, threaded steel, and galvanized steel.
  • Assisting drivers with loading/unloading vehicles, checking against paperwork, identifying missing items, damages, and fuel charges.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments to ensure smooth operations and project execution.
  • Field based with a requirement to travel to customer sites throughout the UK.

Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer / Installation Engineer Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Installation Engineer, Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, Pipework Engineer, Pipefitter, or similar within the mechanical engineering environment.
  • Pipework installation experience on mechanical engineering-related products, for example pumps, valves, or similar.
  • Engineering qualifications, CSCS card, IPAF, PASMA, and confined space training are advantageous.
  • Safety critical medical required.
  • Ability to travel across the UK and work away from home, with occasional weekend on-call availability (1 in 3 weekends).
  • Full UK driving license.
