An award-winning Manhattan architecture practice is seeking a talented Intermediate Architect to join their collaborative, design-driven team in New York City. This role would be ideal for an Intermediate Architect, Architectural Designer, or Project Designer with strong experience in rehabilitation work and Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Office:

  • Location: New York City

  • Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Hybrid schedule)

 

Duties:

  • Contribute to large-scale renovation and rehabilitation projects across multiple buildings and campus sites

  • Support Business Development goals by helping maintain strong relationships within the firm’s Client Network

  • Coordinate design and documentation phases, from schematic design to construction administration

  • Produce detailed technical drawings, models, and presentation imagery

  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Project Architects, and consultant teams

 

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in architectural design for renovation and rehabilitation projects

  • Proficiency in REVIT and Building Information Modeling, with full understanding of LOD standards

  • Experience in Business Development and client coordination advantageous

  • 3D design proficiency and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

  • Knowledge of NYC Building Codes and multi-family housing projects a plus

  • LEED and/or Passive House Certification desirable

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident in Meetings and team collaboration
