Intermediate Architect – Transportation / Infrastructure Projects
Location: New York
Salary: $100,000 – $115,000 (DOE)
Type: Full-time, Permanent
If you’re an architect who loves the buzz of early design and the challenge of big, complex projects, this will be right up your street.
We’re partnering with a global design studio who have several new rail and metro projects kicking off in early 2026. These are major pieces of public infrastructure — ambitious, design-led, and technically challenging. We’re looking for Intermediate Architects who can bring both creative design thinking and solid delivery experience to the table.
What You’ll Be Doing
-
Working closely with senior design leaders on large-scale transportation and infrastructure projects (rail, metro, aviation).
-
Contributing from concept design through documentation and delivery.
-
Producing coordinated design drawings, BIM models, and presentation materials in Revit and Rhino.
-
Collaborating with engineers, consultants, and clients to help move projects forward smoothly.
-
Bringing enthusiasm for sustainability and net-zero design into every project.
What We’re Looking For
-
Around 8+ years’ experience in architecture, ideally with exposure to transportation, infrastructure, or complex public-sector projects.
-
Strong design sensibility with solid technical understanding.
-
Confident in Revit, Rhino, and broader BIM workflows (Grasshopper or parametric tools a plus).
-
Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in high-quality design.
This is a great fit for an architect ready to step up, someone who wants meaningful projects, genuine mentorship, and to be part of a studio that designs with purpose.
