Internal Sales Executive / Internal Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support required to join a leading engineering manufacturer.

The successful Internal Sales Executive / Internal Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support will be responsible for providing technical support and quotations to customers, managing existing accounts, and identifying new business opportunities.

The Internal Sales Executive / Internal Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support will ideally have a background in process instrumentation, including flow, pressure, level, temperature and analytical, sensors, automation, valves or mechanical engineering. Must be commutable to Manchester.

  • £35,000 – £42,000 depending on experience

Internal Sales Executive / Internal Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support Role

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Provide pre-sales technical advice and product recommendations, as well as after-sales support for a range of products, including pressure, level, temperature, flow, analytical, and valves.
  • Prepare quotations and proposals based on customer requirements.
  • Support internal and external sales teams with commercial and technical knowledge.
  • Identify opportunities for sales growth and promote company products and services.
  • Ensure CRM and CMS systems are accurately updated, and customer communications are logged.
  • Office based in Manchester.

Internal Sales Executive / Internal Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Internal Sales Executive, Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support, Sales Executive, Technical Advisor, Technical Sales Coordinator, or similar within the instrumentation, valve or mechanical engineering industry.
  • Technical understanding of process instrumentation, sensors, automation, valves, pressure, temperature, level, flow, analytical, or similar mechanical engineering products.
  • Experience providing pre-sales technical advice, recommending suitable products, and delivering after-sales support, as well as preparing accurate quotations and proposals tailored to customer requirements.
  • Engineering qualification (HNC or equivalent) in Instrumentation or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Experience using ERP or MRP systems is beneficial.
  • Must be easily commutable to Manchester.
