A Sales Engineer / Service Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager is required to join a global engineering manufacturer specialising in Fluid Power products.
The successful Sales Engineer / Service Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager will be responsible for key account management with major customers across the south, including Swindon, Reading, Andover, Oxford, Luton, Northampton and Reading selling services for various pump products and systems including industrial, centrifugal, submersible pumps, and metering pumps going into the industrial markets
The ideal Sales Engineer / Service Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager will ideally have end-user sales experience with pumps, wastewater, valves, rotating equipment, compressed air, or similar fluid power products/applications.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for a hungry internal technical salesperson or a more senior technical pump salesperson to join a large manufacturer and progress within industrial pump services & sales.

Sales Engineer / Service Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager Role
Responsible for key account management with major customers across the south, including Swindon, Reading, Andover, Oxford, Luton, Northampton and Reading selling services for various pump products and systems including industrial, centrifugal, submersible pumps, and metering pumps going into the industrial markets
Liaise with customers to identify specifications/requirements and offer technical pumping solutions.
Sell a range of centrifugal pumps, industrial pumps, submersible pumps, and metering pumps and negotiate contracts with key accounts for technical service.
Maintaining an already large and integral part of the business, working with industrial customers providing a high level of service.
Liaising with engineering departments and various other sales engineers.
Maintain new pump system sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
Fully remote covering UK based in the north.
Sales Engineer / Service Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager Requirements
Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within rotating equipment.
Experience selling, managing or servicing pumps, valves, MRO products, capital equipment, rotating equipment or similar mechanical engineering products & applications.
Experience selling water pumps preferably centrifugal into the water industry.
A technical engineering degree would be advantageous.
Full clean driving license.
Home-based in Swindon, Reading, Andover, Oxford, Luton, Northampton, Reading or the surrounding areas with willingness to travel to customer sites across the South East of England,
