Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer is required for a leading global manufacturer.

The Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance, fault-finding and breakdown work across a range of automated machinery and electrical systems.

The Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have proven electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment on products and systems such as gearboxes, milling machines, electric motors, pneumatics, hydraulics or similar industrial engineering products.

Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer Role:

  • Provide mechanical and electrical repair, service and maintenance on electromechanical equipment such as milling machines, gearboxes, plant machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics and more.
  • Fault-finding and troubleshooting of factory machinery and equipment to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Install electromechanical / automation & control machinery into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
  • Perform preventative maintenance checks and ensure accurate data logging
  • Willingness to commute to the workshop based near Wolverhampton

Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

  • Experience as a maintenance engineer, service engineer, manufacturing engineer, electrical engineer, automation engineer, mechanical engineer, electromechanical engineer within a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment.
  • Will have proven electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment on products and systems such as gearboxes, milling machines, electric motors, pneumatics, hydraulics or similar industrial engineering products.
  • NVQ Level 3 / HNC / City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley PLCs would be advantageous.
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings, and work on own initiative
  • Basic understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and welding techniques
  • Commutable to Wolverhampton
