Piping QA Inspector – Power Generation - Texas
Verto People is recruiting a Piping QA Inspector to support site quality assurance on a power generation project.
Representing the owner, you’ll oversee piping inspection and testing, verify welding compliance and work with construction teams to resolve quality issues.
Key responsibilities

Verify required non-destructive examination coverage and review test results.

Check welder qualifications and compliance with approved welding procedures.

Witness hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests.

Verify material traceability and positive material identification records.

Inspect pipe supports, spring hangers and cold-pull arrangements.

Raise nonconformance reports and verify corrective actions through to closure.
Requirements

At least seven years of piping inspection experience within power or process plants.

Current CWI certification.

Working knowledge of ASME B31.1, B31.3 and Section IX.

Confidence reviewing inspection documentation and maintaining accurate quality records.

A relevant technical qualification or equivalent field experience.
NDE Level II qualifications, previous owner-side inspection experience and OSHA 30 would be advantageous, alongside familiarity with digital construction documentation tools.
