Plant Manager - Renewable Energy 
Location: LaSalle, CO

Salary expectation: Circa $170,000

Our client is seeking a Plant Manager for its Biogas Facility in Colorado. This position will provide leadership for plant operations, focusing on plant health, safety, environmental compliance, and maximizing growth and profitability.

The Plant Manager will be responsible for day-to-day leadership of all operations functions at this dairy manure digester biogas to renewable natural gas (RNG) facility.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and recommend operations policies, goals, and objectives.

  • Lead the creation of annual goals, budgets, and short-term plans with supporting data.

  • Oversee capital project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure compliance within the established budget.

  • Supervise and manage plant operations personnel, ensuring proper training and development.

  • Ensure OSHA-required safety training and emergency response programs are in place.

  • Provide operational reports and participate in conference calls and meetings with stakeholders.

  • Maintain clear communications with team members and senior management.

  • Lead the review of plant performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize operations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in managing, operating, and maintaining anaerobic digester facilities is required.

  • Bachelor's degree or appropriate facility management experience preferred.

  • Strong leadership and participative management style.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, as well as adverse weather conditions.
