Role of Electrical Design Engineer / Principal Design Engineer
Electrical equipment and systems are designed and developed throughout their entire lifecycle, including requirements, development, drawings, calculations, specifications, compliance, and reporting.
Ownership and responsibility for projects' electrical components and offer the project manager and client technical support.
Follow the design control procedures in the company's quality control system.
Help with the creation of ILS documentation, including training materials, maintenance schedules, manuals, and spare provisioning.
Looking at outdated technology considering design, obsolescence, and current requirements.
Assigning the Design Authority position within the organization and offering more junior engineers and other employees technical support and guidance
Requirements of Electrical Design Engineer / Principal Design Engineer
Electrical engineer with extensive experience in power distribution, control systems, LV motor control, design, development, commissioning, and support.
Capacity to create comprehensive designs based on customer specifications, adhering to relevant standards and laws, choosing components, and defining test plans.
capable of creating single lines and schematic diagrams for electrical systems using AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical.
at least ten years of experience that can be verified, and qualification up to the degree level or equivalent.
Experience in the military, naval, or maritime industries would be advantageous.
Good communicator both in writing and voice; occasionally able to develop technical reports and documents of the highest Caliber for inclusion in client submissions and tender responses.
Able to obtain security clearance from the SC.
