A Project Manager / Controls Project Manager / BAS Project Manager is required to join an industry leader in Boise, ID.

 

The successful Project Manager / Controls Project Manager / BAS Project Manager will come from a background of designing, engineering, and delivering advanced building automation and energy management systems, preferably with Niagara Framework.

 

Package:

$68k – 120k (dependent on experience and tenure)

Project Manager / Controls Project Manager / BAS Project Manager Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee BAS controls projects from contract award to final acceptance.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, forecasting, and cost control efforts.
  • Coordinate activities related to engineering, programming, graphics, installation, commissioning, and project closeout.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, including facilitating meetings, providing progress updates, and resolving issues.
  • Review contracts, specifications, sequences of operation, and submittals.
  • Handle change orders, including scope assessment, pricing, and documentation.
  • Lead project planning meetings and ensure smooth internal handoffs.
  • Monitor the performance of labor, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and quality expectations.
  • Provide support for startup, commissioning, and owner training as needed.

 

 

Project Manager / Controls Project Manager / BAS Project Manager Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in BAS controls project management.
  • Strong understanding of building automation systems, HVAC controls, and low-voltage systems.
  • Proven experience managing commercial or institutional projects, such as in healthcare, education, or large office buildings.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings.
  • Proficient with project management tools, spreadsheets, and documentation.
  • Experience designing and delivering building automation systems using the Niagara Framework.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Alerton, Distech, Delta, or similar.
  • Knowledge of BACnet, IP networks, and system integration.
